Randy Ellis |
Randy Ellis (38) was also a member of Cross Ties' predecessor group, The Universal Pickers, in which he played electric bass. He resides in Buncombe, Georgia with his wife and three children.
Randy plays harmonica, banjo, and mandolin, and sings low harmony vocals and bass as well as the occasional lead. Unknown to most, he also has a special gift of being able to make hip-hop percussion sounds with his voice, although the band has not yet found a use for this talent.
A licensed electrician, Randy is a member of IBEW Local 613. His spare time is enjoyed playing with his children, hunting, fishing and riding ATVs. He and his wife co-direct the youth ministry at Antioch Baptist Church, where he is a lifelong member and Sunday School teacher.
